To be honest, i doubt if any garage would charge you for a new clutch and not fit one ~ it would be too easy to detect and could see them in Court for fraud. A new clutch is not very expensive at trade price, it is the labour time that makes the job pricey.
Go to another garage and ask them to check the clutch out. What garage did you go to?
My shop backs up the work and does not sent back a car till the lead mecanic says the ok. we are BMP fabrication and hot rod shop.we are located at 8884 E. valley road prescott valley AZ 86314. if you have anymore questions the number there is (928)-759-9880
It doesn't matter what I think I haven't seen it. Take the car to another garage and ask them to check.
is it a ROLLS ROYCE you have £300 for a clutch better not ask labour cost,, garages must love you.
Sounds like you got hosed, if it still slips.
It was rattling around n bad to get in gear and he said I need a new clutch.
I paid £300
He showed me a clutch a very rusty clutch (would my clutch be that rusty at 2008?)
I asked for a reciept to which they wouldn't have given me if I did ask n they took ages to print the reciept/paper print out
My car still sometimes slips and the gears are a bit stuff still. Not bad stiff but a bit
What do you think?
