I don't know everything about all cars and trucks, but my response is based upon what I do know about my car and truck. I'm presuming you have an "in-tank" fuel pump and port injected engine (fuel injector at each cylinder).

There are two filters in the fuel system. The one inside the tank as part of the fuel pump. This filter (more like a strainer) keeps the larger particles from entering the fuel system. I don't think that's your problem since you just replaced the fuel pump. There's a finer fuel filter located somewhere between the tank and the engine. This traps the finer particles and is more likely to clog. It's about the size of 1/2 beer can.

Check for fuel pressure. On my vehicles there are schrader valves. Look just like a tire valve on the fuel line or fuel rail that feeds the injectors. Connect a fuel pressure gauge and turn on the ignition - no need to start the engine. Pressure should be between 35 - 50 psi (manufacturer will have the specific pressure for your engine).

I doubt your injectors are bad. All of your injectors would not fail at the same time. But whatever commands the injectors to operate might have failed - but I'd expect a check engine light. You can buy a "Noid Light" specific to your engine. It will tell you if the command to fire the injector is being sent to the injector. These are relatively low cost - cheaper than a fuel pump.

The fuel filter is on the pump. I had some people tell me that there is two filters on there but the Autoparts store said there is only one fuel filter. I know that the fuel is getting up to the fuel injectors weather the injectors are working I do not know. Is there a way I can test the injectors? how do I check the pressure valve?

fuel filter start with the cheapest thing to change

if it has a carb it doesn't have injectors, if it has a carb the main jet is blocked and it needs cleaning out , if it has injectors either the pressure valve is faulty or the ecu is faulty or the fuel line is blocked

I just replaced the fuel pump on it. It wont even start. When we spray ether into it, it starts and runs but when we stop spraying the ether in the carb it dies. It is getting fuel up to the injectors, after that I am not sure. Any ideas whats wrong? I will western union $50 to anyone who gives me the right answer to the problem. I will send the money after it is fixed.
