I have a 93 chevy pu with a leak coming from the differential on the back side, not the yoke side. Is it a big job to ch

No, its easy. Just take all the differential cover bolts off and remove the cover. Place a pan underneath to catch rear end fluid. Clean all old gasket off of cover and diff housing. Buy a new gasket and squeeze some rtv sealent around the gasket. Gently place cover back on and put bolts in place. Snug it down and let it dry. Come back and torque the bolts down. Job finished.

Just put a banana in tail pipe

no just some bolts and a gasket. make sure the leak isn't coming from the fill plug............
