Battery is good tested in other car and it fired right up. Alternator wire is getting hot

With the alternator getting hot you don't need any fancy test - the alternator is shorted. You are better off disconnecting the alternator and charging the battery with a charger. At least you can drive it to get a replacement alternator. It is a fire hazard the way it is.

I was tightening the alternator belt and hit the back of the alternator and it sparked anf when I tried to crank it it was makong a clicking noise like the battery was dead but tested in other car and it crunk right up

You must have shorted out a diode in the alternator. Disconnect it and get a new one.

What does "sparked the alternator" mean?

Take the fat red wire off the back of the alternator, and put some electrical tape on that wire. That wire should now not be warm. Charge the battery. Try to start the car. If it starts, you have an injured alternator. The next time you are messing with the alternator, take the negative terminal off the battery.

go to the fuse box. if you are lucky, you blew one at least.
