I drove over a pothole less than 30mph and scared of damaging the suspension/car?

Are you the same halfwit who posts endless questions about every little driving error you make and 'will it damage my car'?

You don't even have a driving licence, do you kid?

Every driver winces when we cross a pothole. Avoid them whenever safe to do so. Relax, your car can take a few punches.

Worry more about blowing a tire or damaging a wheel rim.(especially if you got those low walled tires that hug the rim)

. Fortunately, you will not be the person driving on gravel dirt roads...potholes is something you jump doing 60mph

. If you got to hit a pothole at speed, hit it dead on center with the tire as that is less damage to the tire sides and you maintain control.

When in doubt about suspension, take to a wheel alignment shop and let them look at the steering components and suspension. They will advise.

Rather depends on the size of the pot hole....but generally yes...don't worry

I usually try and avoid potholes because reading online about damages cause by pothole does scare me.

I was travelling under a train tunnel and it was dark and didn't see the pothole as the roads were pitch black so I drove over it around the speed between 18-30 mph, I couldn't see the size and not sure how deep it was but the ride was hard/rough when I went over it from the driver side.

I'm worried about damaging the car suspension, car components or mechanical parts. I should say when ever I go over a pothole I feel concerned about it of damaging the car. Can cars take abuse from driving over potholes
