A rocker switch just to the rear of the console shifter calls up snow mode, which puts the system into an initial 50/50 torque split and reduces throttle sensitivity. Once under way, it locks in a 25/75 ratio.
the awd should be automatic

1. 'The AWD system will also transfer torque to the front wheels if the system detects loss of traction' in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infiniti_G
2. download pdf from google '2007 g35x manual' , search for 'awd' in that pdf
...............do get 4 good winter tires, today's storm has the roads a complete slushy & icy mess, gotta love Southern New England.
What does the owners manual say?
which show is here?,
I know absolutely nothing about cars lol I own a 2007 G35x . I bought it in April but now the shows here and it's sliding all over the place. Tomorrow im getting winter tires to start off but I don't think AWD is on, on my car. Maybe it is I don't know but I was just stuck in the snow and only 2 tires were moving not all. When I turn the car off and on regularly all lights light up on my dash like any regular car and I see a "AWD" light turn on then immediately off with the rest of them. So I know I have the option. I might sound dumb lol but ugh someone help? Do I need to go somewhere to have it turned on or is there a button ?
Don't get me wrong the car has a lot of power but New England whether is no joke
