Look up how the demolition derby guys do there cars.. I know they chain or weld the doors shut if you can do anything protect that front end at all cost being front wheel drive and the engine and trany all sit up their weld a cage to the interior of the engine bay..
Try to fabricate a roll cage? that's about it unless you want some metal bumpers or something.
The key is to protect the engine and and radiator by any means necessary.
There are many ways to help, but an engine cage to protect it and since its not street legal you can use alot of heavy gauge steel as weight is of no importance, but it does help you damage other cars :)
Good Luck :)
I'm trying to make my 96 pontiac Grand Prix tough and durable for a crash to pass race. Any suggestions on how I might do this? Keep in mind it doesn't need to be street legal just no after market bumpers and nothing weapon-like.
