How to find these car parts online?

On line parts are a risk.

If they are not genuine or a fake pretending to be genuine they may well not be of a good quality.

If you get a shop to install them you will get no warranty on the parts and if they fail you will have to pay to have them replaced. If the shop provides the parts you should get a warranty and if the part fails they should replace it free including the labour.

The big bills on these parts will be the labour charges.

Stick to genuine parts to make your car last longest.

I ma surprised you need a new rack on a 2006 car unless you have damaged it by impact.

Most shops won't install customer provided parts. If they do, they usually charge more because you've denied them the profit on the parts.

Bringing your own parts and offering to just pay labor is like bringing your own eggs to a restaurant and offering to pay them just for the time to cook them. They'd laugh you out of the place and so will most shops.

any parts store.

I am needing to replace a few things in my car, but when I took it to the shop, the price seemed outrageous for the parts. A few people told me I can find it much cheaper online and then just take it to the shop for them to put it in.

But I don't really know how to find the specific parts for my car... I don't wanna buy the wrong ones. Is there a way to search by VIN? Any tips to finding my car parts?

Things I need:

-Front, right, and left engine/motor mounts replaced

-Rack and Pinion Assembly needs replaced (return hose, RMN complete rack assembly)
