Actually, there really is no need to BLEED any air out of the system, when you turn the key on, the fuel pressurizes. Do this 2-3 times, its bled. So if you been trying to crank the engine for longer than 1 minute, you have other issues
I have replaced over 100 fuel pumps & fuel filters & turn key on twice for about 5 seconds each, not cranking then usually starts the engine on the third key on & cranking. So not sure who would actually push on the test port to bleed air out but it isnt neccessary
OK, trying to understand your question here. you said it runs for a minute but doesnt start??? So why is it running if it doesnt start???
I suggest you check for the presence of fuel pressure with a gauge, may be a fuel pump issue. May be something else not related to fuel
Hold the Schrader valve open on the fuel rail while someone turns the key to run and wait for it to squirt.
I agree with hum V how can it run without starting?? it runs but wont start makes no sense....... maybe the whole problem is the person who thought they were fixing it, fixed the wrong thing,,,,
Rolo has the right idea
Changed fuel filter, checked relay voltage, fairly new fuel pump, turns over and runs for a minute but won't start.
