How serious is an intake manifold oil leak on a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer?

Rubber seal between intake and cam galley, if you people have never been into an engine before, SHUT THE **** UP!! You can TRY cleaning real well w/ spray carb. or brake cleaner, then lay in a couple beads of RTV sealant, let set up and run it, may or may not work. DON'T drive to Texas w/o locking this leak down.

Um, the oil don't flow into the intake manifold. so not sure what your talking about intake manifold oil leak.

Its the lifter valley seal

the only things that should be inside of an intake manifold are air and fuel. you probably have a bad valve stem seal.

I have a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer and it has a slight leak of oil at the left front corner.

Apparently it will be a pretty expensive to reseal, so I am wondering if it's worth the money and generally how serious of an issue it is.

Also, I am planning to drive from Washington to Texas in the summer (about 2700 miles) and am curious if it's urgent to get this repaired beforehand.

Thanks!
