Modern day fuels[PETROL] contain enough detergents and dispersants, without the use of so called fuel system cleaners, to virtually do away with injector services, BUT, before I get howled down, it probably wouldn't do any harm to have the injectors taken off and cleaned professionally at about 100,000klms. If you drive the car every day and fill it up on a regular basis and don't drive like granny, there's little chance of any varnish or residue deposits building up. I ran my 2007 Hyundai Getz on E10 -95 and had the injectors serviced at 93,000klms and I was told there was nothing wrong with them.
LOL yea, I have no idea how stupid they think people really are. I guess some people are just dumb enough not to know that Gas is a Solvent.
Ironically we use gasoline to clean off Diesel soot. If you don't know what diesel soot is, think a stick tar that when you try to wipe it off, it just smears. Not even simple green take is off. Yet soak it in gas for a few hours and it's clean as new.
NEVER EVER fall for "fuel system cleaner or injection cleaner" it is the biggest scam going.
There is no such thing as "replace injector flush" a fuel system flush is often a money maker for them. My van has 180,000 on it and never has been done and runs same as it ever has.
There's no such thing
How else do you think they make money.
My car model is 2010 Ford Focus. It has a mileage of about 62,000 miles. I went to the dealership yesterday and it show on my receipt that I need to replace it.
