This can't be repaired to any good extent. The plastic can be sanded with a sand paper (super fine grit 1000 or more) to smooth out the area but likely will be noticeable especially by you! We are our worst enemy when it comes to our own cars! Most times a replacement panel becomes a shops suggestion. This could run from perhaps 50 dollars (you got from the wrecking yard) or up to several hundred depending on the car model and age. Now I ask myself this. If a shop wants to order a panel for 400.00 would I be a fool to not try light sanding it 1st and using a good vinyl interior protector spray on the area to see if it can satisfy myself? A few sheets of the fine grit emery cloth costs in different grades under 5 dollars and the spray less than 10.00 McGuire's, Mothers and higher end products always over ones with Vikings on them.

Repair, there is no repair to a plastic inner door panel and inner door handle. You can buy new ones from the dealer of your car and the VIN code

You could try and find a used door panel at a salvage yard or on ebay

it's just an old beater- why worry about it. You'd just be polishing a turd.

I have an appointment to get it fixed but they could not give me a price until their interior repair guy comes in. Im worried about it being over $400 and not having enough.
