Almost certainly a write off. A 10 year old corsa is not worth much even with low mileage if you believe it.
No one can do more than guess without looking at it. I'd guess it will need to go on a jig to check alignment of the monocoque. If that needs adjusting then it won't be going back on the road.
That'll be a write off. Even at a back street body shop it's probably a grand or more worth of damage there and the car's not worth much more than that.
Sorry , as already stated it look too far gone. You could make money back by dismantling it for spares, the engine and gearbox, Road wheels and tyres, the other doors and the interior. Then £70 for the shell.
It will be a cat D write off, not financially viable to repair.
This question is probably best answered by someone who has experienced working as a mechanic.
The car is a 2004 Vauxhall Corsa Design with 35k on the clock and is worth at a guess between £1500-£2000. The right side was hit whilst stationary by another vehicle at 15MPH, and only the damage you see in the photo has been made, lets assume the remainder of the car is fine. How much will repair cost? Essentially what I'm trying to find out is if the insurer will write off or not.
I know I'm not giving alot of information, but just do your best, and if theres alot of potential problems you can't diagnose then try and give me a breakdown of potential costs, like a best and worse case scenario based on what you see. Thanks.
