Erin, there is zero logic to feel the need to take a photo and to post it/text this to anywhere. Erin, car repairs are done locally by auto body shops and auto repair shops. In accidents like this your insurance company needs to know what and where and when it happened. Then, depending on the type and terms of auto insurance coverage, you shall find out what they shall do for you. Or not. Body shops can charge what they want as to any repairs. This means labor, parts, inspection for further "invisible" damage, paint, clips, badges, lights, etc. must be compiled and submitted to the claims dept. of the insurance company or to you. No guessing is allowed as to car repairs. Whatever anyone says here has no bearing on the repairs. You simply have smartphone and love to or are addicted to texting. So, here were, discussing this totally useless posting. First, call your insurance company and make the report. Follow their instructions. Second, they shall or shall not cover the damages due to whatever policy you have. Lastly, either you or them shall pay for all or share part fo the bills. But only an auto body shop can render an estimate. I recently had body work due to rust on a 2008 Mercury Mariner just out of body warranty. One shop, who had no interest, said unofficially about $5,000. Another $2,700. This is for two areas less than five inches long. A third one told me $1,345. Guess who I selected? The car looks like nothing happened. My answer is complete. Good luck. Sorry about the damage. Whomever did this should have left a note.
You Can Get A Paint Job For Any Where From $100-$550. To Re-Paint The Hole Car It Would Cost $600. Hope This Helps.
Sorry
did the paint crack or just a scratch did the plastic get damaged, if its just clear coat damage simple quick fix few hundred at local shop, factory paint is easy to match and fix, as long as the part is still straight and undamaged, now that said you should have it looked at as you probly know there is alot of stuff behind that bumper that may have gotten damaged and the bumper just flexed and went back to shape hiding the true extent of the damage behind it, from the look of it your probly ok, remember there is a flex agent in the paint so it has some elasticity and isnt just hard and unflexable, you really cant cut and buff a factory paint job, its to thin, so a pro is the way to go, i wouldnt spend more than a few hundred to fix it if its just paint, if its more than that id leave it as it really isnt going to effect the value of your vehicle in the long term,

Someone ran into my car parking this morning. How much do you think this repair will cost?
There are a couple of deeper scratches by the vent, but most aren't deep.
