Well the cost of the bumper, a wild guess $400 - $800 then painting the bumper another $400 - $600.
An unavoidable pothole? Then every car traveling that road hit it too. I would have thought you would see all those bumpers, wheel covers etc. that fell off the other cars.
It starts from $18,190
Hardly you will lose 10000$ otherwise not a big deal.
I was exiting the freeway today and hit a large, unavoidable pothole which snagged the side of my bumper. The damage is pretty light, so I'm pretty sure the're no frame damage, it's just that the strip of plastic snaps that hold the bumper on a stretched and shredded. The bumper wasn't in awesome shape to begin with, since we live in a city and ppl are careless at parallel parking, so we're just gonna replace it. How much will the part+labor cost at a dealership? Is another place better? I'd just as soon avoid doing pick-a-part and having a friend attach it, since front bumpers tend to get damaged on the bottom from curbing and bottoming out in parking lots.
