How much does it cost to chrome a car?

A real chrome job will likely end up costing 3-4 times the value of the car, assuming it is in the $80,000 - $100,000 range.

First, the car will need to be completely disassembled down to the body.

Then it will need to be stripped of all paint/primer/filler and straightened/filled using metal.

Then the bare body shell and panels will need to be chromed.

Considering that a simple metal bumper can run up to $1000 for chrome, assume a whole car will be 20 to 30 times that (if not more).

Then, since it is a modern car with lots of plastic, all those parts will stick out like a sore thumb...

Easier to get a chrome-like spray. Still will set you back in the tens of thousands for a good job, but will be much, much cheaper. Would bet that the car in the picture is painted, not chromed.

Around $5000 $10,000. Usually. Try to check on an online chrome playing website and see how much it costs.

that might be illegal, better to check the state laws first, because I know that in my state you are not allow to have the silver window tint

there are better ways to get attention.

I know it's a lot, but I've also heard there is a cheaper way of giving your car a chrome look, chrome wrapping I think?

How much would it cost to chrome a toyota supra for example?

I put a picture attached to see what I'm talking about.
