How many psi if my pressure gauge only has ib?

Posted at: 2015-01-07
My pen sized pressure gauge only has ib as a unit of measurement. How can I convert that to psi? Thanks!

PSI means Per Square Inch. The LB on the gauge refers to Pounds Per Square Inch, the same thing.

PSI=Per Square Inch, so a reading of 10 pounds equates to 10 pounds Per Square Inch, or 10 PSI.

Are you kidding, or something? No "conversion" is required. For example, if the tire requires 35 psi, inflate the tire till "35" is attainted on the pressure gauge.

No conversion at all.

PSI means "Pounds per square inch".

Lbs is an abbreviation for "pounds"; the manufacturer just skipped the "per square inch".
