Main issue is that combustion gasses from the cylinders is also leaking into the cooling system. That forces the water out of some places and will make the engine overheat is certain areas, especially around the cylinder head. Then the head will actually crack and the engine stops very soon after that (in a cloud of steam and smoke)

How long will with take? 10 minutes? 10 days? 10 weeks? Who can say. But it's going to die in the near future.

Your fluids are mixing! Oil with coolant mixed in is going to destroy the engine FAST. We are not talking years, we are talking days. There is no additive that will fix this. If you delay, you are going to either have to replace the engine or the car.

I would bet this is a late 90s or early 2000 GM vehicle with the defective head gaskets.

Depends on where the leak is, How bad it is. Might last couple years,, Might die tomarrow. I have seen a few cases where additives work!! but not under most circumstances!! Truth is It should be fixed!

More like days or weeks, and NO, additives (spelled right) will not work, time to grow up when it comes to expensive major engine repairs. Make a band-aid will work, LOL.
