You can also get tire repair kits with a gummy string thing and a crochet hook, and fix it yourself if it's just a nail hole and the tire isn't damaged. I've used them several times myself, even if they are only supposed to be for temporary repairs. Certainly worth packing on a long trip.
You should just take the car to a garage and then get someone to repair it for you.
It depends on where the puncture is on your tire. Many can be repaired ....filling stations often do that, WalMart....any place that sells tires. If the tire can't be repaired you can buy a new tire and have it mounted on your wheel....then put on the car.
First you can bring the tire to a repair shop to see if they can "patch" the the hole.
As for your spare, You can certainly check with a local auto salvage yard for a tire on a correct wheel for your car.
Take it to a Garage that does repairs. Remove wheel and get someone to take you.
if u are not a aaa member then, a gas station with a garage or a tire shop. third alt. call a tow truck.

Actually, I got a puncture repair kit. $12. No expensive towing or repair shop.
So I got a nail in my tire and went to put on the spare an it is the wrong tire, the blasted thing did not fit… anyway so
How do you do it, just go to wreckers and buy a wheel with tire? Is that what you do?
Prob stupid question but thanks if you answer
