There is usually a spot toward the front and back along the edge of the unibody seam that has some kind of tab(s) to indicate where it's stronger and designed for jacking. On trucks or cars with a frame, you concentrate mostly on getting the vehicle's center of gravity lined up with the center of the hoist and the place the hoist pads wherever you can get a good safe spot on the frame.
