Did you look for holes in the oil pan or block?
Is it locked up or not? No matter, it sounds like you need a new motor. Depending on the information you did not give us such as model year, engine model and mileage on the thing it may pay you to install a junk yard engine or maybe a rebuilt engine rather than a new one. Or just junk the vehicle and buy a new one.
Figure it out.

The motor just flat quit on me going to work. Make a clunking noise when trying to start.
