Turn them on. Spray with water, let them run and water until they smooth out and run right
De-natured alcohol, rag, wipe blade.

try a rag
My last set of wipers instructions said to run them for 10 minutes on a dry windshield.A razor blade held almost flat to the windshield will really smooth it out.
I recently bought new windshield wipers for my Chevy Silverado because it was time and the old ones really squeaked when wiping. The new ones still squeak some and the dealer who sold me the wipers said "You have to get the windshield really clean!" I should have asked him how at the time but didn't.
Has anyone else had this problem with their wipers/windshield and can you recommend a cleaning suggestion?
