Measure the sensor resistor in daylight using a multimeter.

I hear ya Marty. This is the dumbest thing to ever come out of Detroit. It makes people relient on sensors and eliminates common sense. More and more cars running around in the fog or blinding snowstorms with headlights off. They do not know how to turn them on anymore and off anymore. Sorry, IDK.
I want to shut off my automatic headlights in my Chevy. It uses a light sensing variable resistor to drop 5. volt dc input, down to 2. volt. How can I calculate the fixed resistor needed to do this ??
