Not rotors. Sounds like more like wheels are out of balance. Meaning tire store and tell them. You need wheel weights on the rim as the rubber is not even thickness or weight all the way around. This will get rid of the vibrations. If it does not, then we are talking wheel alignment shop so they can check out the steering joints for sloppiness.
No one shop does both jobs. These are specialized areas of work requiring different knowledge.
. If rotors were a problem, you would notice by traveling highway speed and then on a straight good piece of roadway lightly touch the brake pedal and lightly hold the steering wheel. If the steering wheel starts to vibrate a lot more when you touch the brake pedals then the rotors are uneven. Mechanic is just trying to get some bucks out of you because rotor replacement or rotor turning is something done in the mechanics shop. Brake pads as well is done by mechanic. BUT WON'T FIX YOUR PROBLEM Tire store more likely and they can measure to say your wheels are balanced so it must be steering is worn out.
. I am just telling you where to go. Like a doctor, head shrinker, dentist.(each knows something different)
Hi rotors well not cause shaking at 70 mph.. that sounds like tire balance.. if the steering wheel shakes its the front tires if the whole car shakes its the back.. the price of $25+ is right on but that's just to surface the rotors not removal.. and if your going to remove them then by all means replace all the pads..
good luck

If your rotors aren't seriously scored and there's no discernable lip on the outside edge, you're wasting your time and money replacing or resurfacing them. Rotors do not warp under normal usage. You would have to subject one to enormous amounts of heat which would burn up the lubrication in a wheel bearing long before that.
It's against the law to resurface brake rotors *under the rotor friction surface thickness stamped inside the rotors.
Depends on how bad they are. But usually around $25 - $30 a rotor.
Here in AZ, ten to fifteen dollars. Autozone does them, as do many other places. You should replace the warped rotors. No need to turn or replace , rotors that are not bad.
Not sure how much resurfacing is, or if that will solve the problem.
Here's a site that might help with auto parts, though:

-My front right rotors seems to wiggle a little bit while I brake and the car shakes a bit when I go over 70MPH. The mechanic said I should just replace the rotors. Anyways Im not in a tight budget or anything but Im also willing to save money as well. So how much is it to resurface brake rotors for 4? Or should I just replace the 4 old brake rotors? I already bought 2 Brake Pads for Front & Rear. So buy then change the old rotors? Or just to resurface? If buying the only one I can afford is the Autozon Gold Brake Rotors for $36.99. Yes the holes are better But Im just college student, I go school, hangout and go home.
