You have 6 year old tires that are requiring all kinds of half assed remedies to hold pressure. They are well due to be replaced immediately.
Just drive until it gets low again... In the mean time, save for some new rims.
Buy some new TIRE'S
My mom bought a 2001 Impala back in 2008. Ever since getting it there has been a problem with the Tyres never holding air. Took it to a Tyre shop last summer they put Bead sealer on 3 of the 4 tyres as only 3 leaked. Well recently one tyre would go flat completely in under 24hrs so for the sake of time I put on the Donut spare and left it at that. I decided to do a home remedy of putting an ENTIRE can of Fix-a-Flat into the tyre and putting it back on the car. I drove it around for 2 miles and parked it I aired the tyre up to 35psi and I checked it today its holding air. From what I can tell its just a Bead leak as there is no puncture to the tyre. so how long can the car be driven on a tyre repaired with Fix-a-Flat?
