Hit a curb very hard, had tire and rim fixed but wheel is still crooked?

Most often an impact that tilts the wheel has also bent a control arm, tie rod, and strut. These repairs routinely run $600-$1,200. If so, you might want to file a claim with your insurance company. It'll count as an at fault accident and you'll have to pay your deductible.

New cars cannot withstand impact because they're made from lighter weight materials to improve gas mileage.

So LIGHTEN up on the pedal buster.

Need to get alignment done. Only way to fix it.

Alignment!!! I would hope the clown that did the tire replacement had enough sense to look for any suspension damage as well

Newer lightweight cars, maybe bent lower control arm.

You probably bent some of the steering linkages in your 'FRONT END". Regardless if you have the money or not, if you break your car you must repair your car, good luck.

Get an alignment, they will tell you if you broke or bent something

So I recently got my affected car tire and rim fixed but the steering wheel is still crooked. I hit a curb really hard the other day by accidentally pressing on the gas too hard and don't know if the steering wheel just needs realignment or if something more serious is wrong/something is bent? I'm really freaking out because I'm about to be a college student and I don't have money to do a serious repair. Anyone have a similar experience and can give me a preview about what my expenses might be? I'm going to the shop tomorrow to check it out.
