Could be several things. But the most likely damage by the cone was to a radiator hose of the radiator itself. Look for leaks, or simply a puddle, under your vehicle in the morning. Also, check the coolant reservoir. If it is low or empty, fill with water to the full level And as soon as possible have you entire cooling system check by a certified mechanic as soon as possible.

Sounds like a pinhole leak in the radiator, look for fluid puddle on ground. If not, maybe vacuum hose got knocked off?

Okay, so for some reason, there was a freaking cone in the middle of a road on its side and I went over it. It made a small crack in the front and there's this sound of air (?) escaping from the hood of the car. What could it be? It's late and I can't have it checked out at the moment, but I'm wondering what it could be.
