Time to get the codes read, a maintenance tune up,and compression test etc because of misfire.
and check the brakes for warpage.
Sometimes a brake shake or pulsing feeling can change for the better just inspecting and reinstalling the wheels and tightening correctly with a torque wrench.
when its at low speed it makes me inspect all the parts extra close. wheels, tires, hubs, bearing play, drive axles etc. and closely view each rotor or drum for the cause of being pulsey.
If your linings are still over 50 % you could try suggesting this till its brake job time. Then, at that time, it will require rotors and or drums. Your tech will know how to isolate the pulsation by axle during the road test.
It's likely the brake hard parts have been exposed to heating beyond normal so inspect/ machine/ replace with an educated approach.
don worry, maybe it's under control by autobotsXD
best run it into the ground
The car is a 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder Gt. We bought it in used condition and this recently started happening.
The problem is that when just starting up the car, it shakes and it also does a weird pulling/tugging feeling when slowly stopping if you move the car. It doesn't do it anymore after the car has been running for a while. Yes, the check engine light is turned on. It had turn off for a while hit then came back on.
Please help, what could be wrong? My dad says he checked it multiple times and says he has no clue. I'm afraid they'll give up on the car soon. (16 year old trying to help out)
