Head gasket help needed please?

A head gasket isn't going to fail if the car is parked up and not used.

Either, it wasn't done in the first place, or the garage are incorrect.

European gas and oil are DIFFERENT form ours esp when this car was made! IT requires HEAD WORK to run on UNLEADED FUEL< and was made for LEADED FUEL USE! This means MODIFICATIONS to cylinder head, and valve seats! Most MG's use CAST IRON HEADS< but without adaptation to UNLEADED FUEL< there are problems that show up! If VALVE SEATS were never modified, you should have it done! ALso change the DISTRIBUTOR for unleaded fuel with FULL ELECTRONIC One form PERTRONIX! Use MODERN iridium or platinum plugs and NO GREEN COOLANT! Use BENZ or BMW coolant in there instead! AUDI is also GREAT coolant for it! BYE NOW!

Bought an MGB new . . . . the third time it blew the head gasket, sent the head out to be "trued", ie machined to insure that it was perfectly flat. Head gasket held that time. "Finest British Craftsmanship"

Ripped off, with a MG? You're having a larf. They break if you use them, go wrong if you don't.

Had head gasket replaced in MG in 2007. Car has not been used since this it was replaced. Stored outside. Sent to garage for check before using again and told head gasket has gone. Am I being ripped off? Your help would really be appreciated.

Thank you.
