As I turn the key to crank up my 2000 Cadillac STS it just makes a weird sound. Can anyone help me with this?

Cars can make all sorts of "weird" sounds. You'll have to describe it better, or take it to someone who can actually listen to the sound and find the cause.

May be a dead battery. Get a friend to give you a jump.
