Sell it, sell parts from it, sell it to a local auto salvage yard as scrap.
Never get a car which the owner claims is easy t fix, yet they won't do the easy fix , they lie.
Most free cars require few parts but quite a lot of labour. Why did you take it if you cannot fix it yourself?
Make, model year, milege, issues?. will the engine turn over.?
What is it? If it has collectible value please don't scrap it. If its an import....scrap it or sell it on craigslist.
get a cheaper mechanic.

I was given a car that will not start. I was told it would not take much to fix it and it would be a good car when its fixed. It turns out that it will cost a lot more than I thought to fix. So now I have this broken car just siting in my drive way. What should I do with it?
