Where did you pour the water?
If it is into the oil then possibly.
You need to get a mechanic involved here
Phil M is about water in the air intake. Again if it is there then probably once the engine has turned over.
It all depends where you poured the water. How much and how long it tried to run.
A picture would have been useful with an arrow to show where you put it.
1. Remove all spark plugs after labeling the wires to keep them in the order they were in.
2. Crank engine for 10 seconds to remove water from cylinders
3. Squirt a little oil in each spark plug hole to regain compression.
4. Crank engine for 3 seconds to coat cylinder wall with oil.
5. replace spark plugs in proper locations and the car should run fine.
Water will not compress so the engine will die. If you wait too long to fix this, the engine could become damaged. Water will cause rust.
What fluid is supposed to go where you put the water?
Exactly what "hole" did you put the water in?
I accidentally poured water into my engine and my car shut down...is my engine destroyed?
