Sometimes spraying it with WD-40 will correct it, if it doesnt it has to be replaced. The door panel has to come off to gain access to it if your replacing it
Lubricate the hinges.
replace the hinge, its not worth your time since your asking
moan back, sometimes that helps
I have an 07 Chevy Impala and the left rear door makes a "groaning" sound when you open or close it. The problem is the turner (I don't know the correct terminology, but it's the circle part that should turn when the door is opened or closed.) is rusted in place and won't move, I have tried to use PB blaster, WD40, and white lithium grease. It still won't budge. Any more ideas?
