It's easy to find a good aftermarket suspension from maxspeedingrods, but you should check which suspension model you need.
A 1/2 ton Chevrolet rides much easier. It has more spring travel with better shock-absorbers.
I've ridden in both!
A set of Bilstein Shock absorbers is all you can do to fix the suspension. You can't put lexus coil springs and shocks in the back of a leaf-spring truck.
Anything is possible, provided you have the money. May I ask why did you replace a LUXURY SUV (LX 470) with a TRUCK!?!?!?!?
My daily driver is a 2012 Toyota tundra platinum and it's been a great truck, but the one thing i don't like is the suspension. It's somewhat rough over bad pavement and it isn't as comfortable as some of the other half ton trucks on the market. I drive a lot, across two states every month and a half, so comfort is key. My old car was a 2005 lexus lx470 and probably the best thing about it was the magic carpet like ride with the hydraulic suspension, and you could even raise it for more ground clearance, or lower it for easier entry/exit. Is there any type of aftermarket suspension kit for a tundra like the lexus'? I've been looking at air suspension kits, but i know that the air bags in those systems can get punctured and I want something that will last, so is there some sort of hydraulic adjustable system that you can get? Also where do you get it installed? Thanks so much.
