Fuel filter changed, now check engine light is on?

Ignition on/off 10 times in a row - without starting the engine - usually fixes the check engine light if it needs resetting. Not sure if that's a myth though if i'm honest.

whats getting a fuel filter replacement got to do with your check engine light from displaying..the car went in for a new fuel filter ,nothing else. the engine management light is your problem not the garage . will cost you another £60 to get it switched off ,only takes 1minute to do.. YOU CAN RESET IT YOURSELF, turn ignition ON & OFF 10 times in a row without starting engine. the yellow symbol light should now be off when you start engine.

Take it back, simple.

I await your thumbs-down for stating the bleeding obvious.....

Can't help because you need the exact code to be able to help.

Just take it back!........Seems obvious......

Corsa C - 2005

Literally got the car back from the garage where they charged £60 to change fuel filter because it was pissing petrol on the floor and now after driving 14 miles the check engine light is on

Can anyone help?
