the idea of these hybrid cars is to use electric power up to 30 mph when driving around in a town or suburban areas.
when out of the speed limits of 30mph the engine starts up and you drive on the engine.it does charge up the motivation battery how ever it also has a standard battery as well used to start the internal combustion engine. these have a live of usually 3-4 years. the huge great battery used to propel the car also has a life of 10 years this is too will need to be replaced at about 10 years after the car has reached either it's 100k mile age or tenth birthday. that battery is very expensive.
I would say the paragraph is pretty much perfect.
Being really 'picky' I would maybe remove the word 'rather'. ie 'The engine torque is large'...or maybe 'High' would be a better word.
should be "run on electricity for a distance of 2 km" apart from that, it's great
I don't like "the standing position". I especially don't like the use of "the". Please use "a". I realize that British English may use the word "standing", but I don't like it. "Position" also sounds odd. If I think of a simpler way to state it, I'll let you know.
