Enterprise rental car with burn hole in the seat?

Well, the only way to fix it is to replace the upholstery on the seat. It will probably be 1-200 bucks.

I'd be more worried about the fact that you were smoking in the car. That's much more expensive to clean.

It's been my experience with rental cars that they only look at the OUTSIDE for body damage, scrapes, scratches, etc and they don't even look inside the car.

Good luck and don't mention it, as though you didn't know it was there. It's no loss to them. They're going to sell it after the second year anyway.

When you signed your rental agreement you signed a legal contract. The contract clearly states smoking is not allowed in the vehicle. By smoking in the vehicle you broke the terms of the contract. Secondly, you did damage to the vehicle. Such a repair could cost anywhere from $100 to $200 dollars. Should you try to take care of it yourself? Sure, you can, but you better find a reputable automobile upholstery shop to do the repair, otherwise it will be obvious.

Way more than $100-$200. Seat will likely have to be removed, reupholstered.

I have a 2014 Hyundai Elantra rental car from enterprise. I accidently burnt a hole in the seat with a cig. Any clue to how much they will charge me? Or how to fix it. It is a threaded cloth seat.
