Engine coolant is low but full in Radiator...?

This is normal after refilling the cooling system. Just top up the reservoir.. Never take the cap off the radiator. If after a couple of top ups the reservoir level keeps falling then check for other signs of leakage.

If the is a leak coming from the engine itself then you do have problems but check all the pipework near by first as it could be dripping down onto the engine.

Hello

The most common coolant leak at the back of the engine would be to do with the Heater as there is a small radiator for this on the inside of the bulkhead.

Did you actually see a leak? A full radiator and low reservoir is no cause for alarm. The reservoir is just a backup.

When the engine is cold, fill both the radiator & the expansion tank to the top. Drive for a day or two, then refill the expansion but don't even open the radiator. Keep the expansion tank full until it stays full.

I recently had to replace my radiator and, everything was fine for a day, but then I noticed the anti freeze was low in the reservoir, it was still full in the radiator itself...the leak appears to be on the back side of the engine...what could it be and how expensive can it be?
