Check the Maximum quoted speed and work out what speed you would red line at. If these are close then yes it is correct.
My Vectra Automatic used to change up at about 2,500 RPM and cruise at 70 MPH at about 3,250 RPM with a quoted top speed of 140 MPH

Top gear ratio on gearbox might be 1:1 but for sure the final drive/differential will be at least 3:1. These revs are normal for a petrol engine.
It all depends on the car. Mine does 80 at just over 2000 RPM but I have a high torque diesel.
Sounds about right, the top gear ratio for that car is probably about 25mph per 1000rpm, so 3000rpm at 80 is close enough.
If it were a V8 engine, 3000 rpm @ 80mph might be a little high, but for a 4 cylinder engine, it is not high at all.
Perfectly normal for 80mph. Should be between 2 - 2.5K at 65mph.
The final drive gear ratio can not be 1:1 when the overdrive is working. If you had listed the year make and model of your car we could have listed all the transmission gear ratios.
when Im going at 80mph in my car the rpm is quite high at 3000rpm in top gear (4th) should the rpms be this high because I thinks they should be lower. the final gear ratio is 1:1 and 15inch rims with 195/60 tyres Volvo 760 turbo 2.3 litre
