if you are not getting any vapor then the connection to the tank is off.. remove the tank or carto and down in the top of the threads is a round metal plug or disk looking thing that is the positive connection over time the tanks will push that little plate down so VERY carefully using a metal jeweler's screwdriver or paper clip barely pry that up a bit not much is needed like the thickness of paper or so distance you pull to hard you yank the wire off of the back of it..
Good question, but I really don't know. That's why I answer questions in the AUTOMOBILE maintenance and repair category. If I knew about that stuff, I would hang out in CONSUMER ELECTRONICS.
Maybe you need a new wick? Or maybe your cartridge is cracked? Make sure all the parts do not look unaligned.. All e-cigs you should expect to have to buy spare parts, btw.
