Then years later i get very busy doing a steering gear on a car in 90 deg heat and the guy wants his old parts for the customer pay portion of the bill. He wants his money and the work, because i did not give him his bleeding core and charge him the fee. It's available for him to view at any time in the core bin tagged with his R.O. #. no, this guy, we'll call him goldberg, wants to get his repair for free because we did not give him his old one back.
we offered to get it for him and let him pay the fee, but explained we had to sack it up so it would not drip, but no, he is calling his lawyer.
Now you tell me, who is right A., B , both, or neither
Without knowing what you got done nobody will know if you got ripped off or not. You must provide details of what kind of work got done on your vehicle. Since you are worried then you must have spent too much. Unless you got a major vehicle repair done like a new transmission you spent too much. At 50,000 miles for any vehicle these days shouldn't need that much money worth of work done even in basic maintenance and just wear and tear parts.
You give little info. Are you female? Do you want to pay at least $75.00 an hour to have another
mechanic try to determine what if anything was done? Could be,,a female duped again.
YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK TO SE THE OLD PARTS. THAT IS ONE WAY.
I recently got car repair done a and 50,000 mile maintenance. Paid over $1000. But there are some indications that I was duped. Is there way to confirm if everything was done for what I was charged?
Get things checked from another mechanic? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
