Driving on the rims ,the vibration could damage the track rod ends ,and drive shafts .
No, as long as it is only 1/2 mile and you don't care about rim damage.
It could destroy your tire and wheel.
Twice in the last month, I've gotten a completely flat tire while on a freeway. Both times I drove about a half mile on a flat tire so I could change the tire on a parking lot instead of on the freeway.
I don't at all care about the tires or the rims because I replaced them with tires from a junk yard, instead of fixing the flat tire. However, both times it was really hard to remove the tire and both times I had to pound on the rim really hard several times to get the tire to come off after removing the lug nuts.
I even drove on the tires both times with the lug nuts barely on the studs without the tire coming off. Is this problem caused by driving on the flat tire, and could I damage other parts of my car when I drive on a flat tire?
