Do they make a 12 volt to AC converter that doesn't use a cigarette plug?

if you get a transformer with a cigarette plug simply cut it off two wires one has a trace (white line) this is the ground or black wire the solid black wire is red

Something like this?

12 V @ 2A with screw terminals. Just make sure your lights draw less than 2 amps, or find a bigger supply. Look for stuff for running CB radios from the mains.

It would be easy to install a cigarette lighter plug.

I dont think you car has a wall plug either.

yes look in a truckstop, but the problem your going to run into is that LED's typically run off of 12v You wanting a power inverter that goes from 12V to 110v. the plug in on the LED's is a 110 to 12v power adapter.. so basically your install things you dont need. 12v to 110v to 12v Go go to a parts house and wire in a toggle switch. run the positive side of the LED to the bat wire you toggle in the ground side, and ground it to the chassis. But if you want more power, run battery cable and wire in a ford starter relay.

I just bought an underbody light kit for my vehicle. It has a red wire that is to be connected to a 12 volt power source, however, I am wanting to actually be able to plug it into the wall instead of the car's power course. Do they make a converter that I can plug into an outlet and attach the red wire too? The car does not have a cigarette lighter so it would have to be one that doesn't have to plug into one.
