Do they have to repaint the entire car?

If they painted your car and then the car forms a few bubbles on the hood and a little on the car door do they only resand that part or the whole car?

Only the areas that need refinished.

If the car was rusted, I wouldn't be surprised to see bubbles appear over the rusted areas if repairs were inferior. If there were no issues of rust or other damage, the only reason the new paint would bubble is that the surface was not properly prepared.....such as sanding dust not entirely removed, oil or grease on the surface, etc. . . . . . so I would be worried about more of the car bubbling in the future, and want the entire car redone properly.

If bubbles form on the hood and door IMMEDIATELY after the car was painted...SOMEONE DOESN'T have a F@CKING CLUE how to paint a car. Might I suggest you get your money BACK and take it to someone who knows what the hell they are doing.

yes. very rare to redo whole car unless it needs repainting all over. so hood and door will be done alone. if its a decent paint shop and paint job recent.. ought to present no problems matching etc.

The bubbles are called "fish-eye" because who ever painted the car has water in their air compressor tank. The only areas that will need to be re-sanded, primed, painted and clear-coated are the the places that originally were painted.

depends on how they go at matching the paintjob

in the main .. no

though if theres an issue with the original job, they may just bite the bullet and redo the whole vehicle
