Do I need to change my radiator? -99 Toyota camry?

Run your car, cruise back home and pop hood with engine running and inspect. Where is the steam coming from? Is it coming from the cap on the radiator? Or a hose. Much easier $ wise to replace then a radiator. Believe it or not but radiator caps go bad. If your smelling smoke that's probably because you've lost sooo much fluid thAt your engine block has gotten so hot your burning oil.. My guess would be radiator if it's not holding fluid. And if u do new radiator, get a new thermostat put in too while your at it! Good luck

Could be a bad hose too. The only way to know for sure is to pay for a cooling system pressure test or start guessing and throwing new parts at it until the steam stops.

no just drive til it seizes. If it is leaking and steaming it is obvious you need a new one. Change the thermostat and hoses too. If not you will be replacing them soon.

Go to a radiator repair shop and ask their opinion. You have a problem, and obviously don't know how to repair the problem yourself. Don't let a lot of time pass by. If your engine overheats, it could be permanently damaged. It's an obvious leak. Could be radiator tank gasket, or tank cracked, or rotten core, or a hose? Let the professionals tell you.

Yes, you need a new radiator. The Toyota one probably has plastic top and bottom tanks and not repairable

So about a week ago I noticed a light steam coming from my engine compartment. And I drove it around the block, and a week later after driving another couple of blocks the steam or smoke really became evident. So I popped open the hood and saw that the corner of my radiator was steaming and had water droplets throughout the very front. I filled up on engine coolant but noticed that it dropped quickly. I checked the radiator itself and it also had coolant. I do realize that I'm leaking coolant, but what's going on with my radiator? It also smells a little like something is burning. I stopped driving the car, and know I shouldn't drive it anymore but could someone give me a bigger picture here? Thanks in advance
