Do I need a tune up?

A fuel filter couldn't hurt and is defiintly a good, inexpensive place to start. It might even cure your car's ills single-handedly.

I agree you must run a diagnostics scan. Does the car feel like its having a hard time idling while parked or stopped? Also does it feel rough off take off? if so this could be your idle air control valve. Did one recently not an expensive fix

When a car starts acting up like this, you HAVE to bring it someplace that can diagnose the problem. Otherwise, it's just guessing.

Maybe you need to check the engine or ecu with ecu tuning tools, you can do it by yourself, find ecu tuning tools from http://www.obd2life.com/ecu-tuning-tool-...

My mustang is acting up by acting like it doesn't wanna go or like it's not getting gas. I think it might be time for a tune up but it almost stalled out on me once and always happens at red lights. It happens after the red light goes green. When I got the car it came with no service records so I don't know what has been done on it service wise and I have already changed the oil in it so it's not due for another oil and oil filter change till about 150k. When I got the car it already had 135k on it and I don't know if a tune up was done on it or not. Serious answers only please and if possible please include links.
