Chances are good you had no tail lights either.
could be as simple as a blown fuse. also, there is a knob or switch on the dash that dims and brightens the dash lights. you may need to turn it up. but I am betting you have a bad fuse. have a mechanic that you trust check it out for you.
Did you try turning the light switch? If it the kind of switch that pulls out then you can turn the knob clockwise to make dash lights brighter.
I just recently bought a 1998 Bonneville, and lastnight was the first time I drove it at night. I realized that my dashboards lights won't come on, and I have no idea what the issue is. Is there anyway to fix it? I would like to know my speed if I am driving at night. I'm also a first-time car owner, any tips would be great.
