Cold air intake improve gas mileage?

No- makes it worse. Cold air if more dense. The computer will add more fuel. You will get better performance- maybe as much as 10HP at 30 degrees F vs. 100 degrees F but your mileage will be worse.

It will help with mileage and performance but, it won't be enough to notice unless you're on a dyno or a race track with timers.

Hi No it will have the opposite effect actually the cold air will make it use more fuel. only air

heated by being heated by the exhaust manifold would be a lot cheaper on fuel.

Those kits are $300. How many tank fulls of gas would that buy? Then a new cartridge / element every year. $$ Just sayin'.

Update to Bearface. Cold Air Package has been around for 20 yrs. Better look under your hood. Duct work goes to front grill. Cool air = more power & mpg.

I never noticed any mpg improvement in winter

colder air is more dense so it needs more fuel. keep that in mind.

No, not very likely.
