Some cars are programmed so that the check engine light blinks when certain error codes pop up that are considered urgent/emergency codes. I had a van that was flashing and the owner's manual said that it means there's a misfire on one or more cylinders. - A serious problem, but it was a relatively simple and affordable fix - just needed new spark plugs.
something must be wrong with ur fuel pump or accelerator, would advise you see you machanic
Take $20-30 to the oil change place and have your IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE and THROTTLE BODY cleaned up! The CEL light tells you one of two related things! Either the AIR/FUEL mixture is going whacky or the converter is overheating! THEY ARE RELATED! On FORD cars the IAC is easy to remove for cleaning up! Extra air is added to the engine by the IAC valve! YOUR FOOT only adds air and the IAC fine tunes it! BAD OIL CHOICES turn engines into a GOOEY mess with tarry and coky deposits! This BAKES into engine sensors and VOILA< you have a MESS on your hands!! GOOD LUCK!!
