Im pretty sure you shorted something. Ether wait a couple hours and try again or use a can of break cleaner spray it around the block. Avoid heavy uses on rubber and placstic wire ether can eat away at it. Do just a couple passes in the engine bay. Put it in the sun for a cpuple hours with the hood open to let it evaperate out. Only use brake cleaner as a last ditch if you need to go somewhere now

sounds like the Alternator or fuel pump. Wait a few hours to give everything a change to dry up and try again.

if it was the battery it would not even crank how long did you wait to start it it could be shorting out

cheak the distribiter maby there is water in it

Water in distributor... Or on plug wires. Take the cap off, dry it out. Spray WD40 on your plug wires..

Don't use water on an engine... :(
